Psiquiatrist, psychologist, psychotherapeutic, 12-step program, or any other intervention…
All specialized services increase the chances of success for any treatment..
Will the treatment medications cause addiction?
NO. The prescribed medications do not cause addiction.Even if they are used for long periods (months), once they are no longer necessary, they can be withdrawn and discontinued.
However, this discontinuation should always be supervised by a doctor.
All neurological medications should be withdrawn gradually and under supervised guidance.
How do I know if my own or my family member's pattern of consumption doesn't require hospitalization?
Each patient is different. However, hospitalization as part of treatment has specific indications and becomes necessary when the patient is unable to stop their consumption or poses a risk to their health and/or loved ones.
